Steve Phillips founded Southwest Adventure Tours, LLC
to share two of his passions: motorcycle riding and
Baja California. He is also currently a franchisee for Edelweiss Bike Travel in North America operating 6 different tours. He first founded Phillips Racing in 1996 and
participated in a number of SCORE Baja 500, 1000 and other off-road races
over the years in Mexico. He is an experienced on-road and off-road
motorcyclist and is fluent in Spanish; having lived and worked in several
countries in Latin America. He has spent a great deal
of time in Baja California racing, riding off-road and exploring. Also
forming part of the S.A.T. support team is Hector Jimenez.
Hector is native to Mexico and provides chase crew and support
services for the company.
